Product updates, release notes, and changelog from the Trackstack team.
We fixed a bug where the app could display in Spanish even for workspaces that don't have multilingual features enabled. Now the app correctly respects workspace settings and only shows non-English languages when your workspace supports it. You may briefly see English when reloading the app before your preferred language loads—this is intentional to ensure the correct language is shown.
Impact: App now correctly respects your workspace's language settings
We've improved how we determine which posts appear in your Trending Posts section. Instead of showing an arbitrary selection, we now rank posts by engagement—measuring likes and comments—with the newest posts breaking ties. This means you'll see the most popular and actively discussed content from your studio.
Impact: See the most engaged posts rather than arbitrary selections
We've fixed a bug where the 'Move to stack' button wasn't appearing consistently on all tracks, even when it should have been available. Now the button appears reliably on all eligible tracks, and on the Stack page it's been moved to a prominent position next to the Download button so it's easier to find.
Impact: Move-to-stack button now appears consistently on all tracks where it should be available
We've added a Reach entry to your left sidebar in the 'More' section, making it easy to access without needing to use a direct URL. The Reach link now appears alongside Orbit and Studio for workspaces that have access to it.
Impact: Faster navigation to Reach — no need to use direct URLs anymore
We've added a new 'Revisions' filter option to your Notifications page, allowing you to easily view and manage revision requests separately from other notifications. This joins your existing filters like Comments, Reviews, and other notification types for better organization.
Impact: Easier filtering and management of revision requests in your inbox
Fixed critical issues with the channel Access tab where visibility changes weren't being applied properly. Secret channels were incorrectly showing as Private, and converting channels between visibility levels now requires proper confirmation. Changes to channel visibility now work as intended.
Impact: Secret channels now correctly display as Secret and remain hidden from non-members when you save without changes
We fixed a bug where admin pages could become unreachable from the sidebar navigation. Additionally, we fixed a broken 'Add events to calendar' button that wasn't working properly. All admin navigation links and routes are now automatically kept in sync, preventing similar issues in the future.
Impact: All admin pages are now reliably accessible from the sidebar—no more unreachable pages
Studio owners and admins can now choose on a per-post basis whether audio posts display under the studio's name or their personal name. This toggle appears in the audio post composer, giving you more flexibility in how you present your content.
Impact: Post content under your personal name when you want to highlight individual coaching
Studio owners can now restrict event visibility by membership plan or cohort, ensuring exclusive events only reach intended members. We've also fixed several bugs in event creation and editing that prevented access restrictions from being saved properly, and improved the event creation modal's date picker usability.
Impact: Control who sees your events—restrict visibility to specific membership plans or member cohorts
Member cohorts are now complete and ready to use end-to-end. You can create cohorts, add members individually or in bulk, and use them to gate channel access. The Cohorts section is now easily accessible from the admin sidebar, and all operations have been thoroughly tested and validated.
Impact: Create and manage member cohorts directly from the admin panel with intuitive create/edit dialogs
Your Reach audiences can now automatically sync with everyone who's submitted to your Inbox. We create a managed audience for each Inbox that stays up-to-date as new submissions come in, plus you can manually re-sync anytime. This makes it easier to build targeted campaigns from your existing submitter base.
Impact: Automatically build audiences from your Inbox submitters without manual data entry
The download manager was incorrectly displaying downloaded files as "0 Bytes" even when the files were several megabytes in size. We've fixed this so the download manager now accurately shows the real size of files you've downloaded.
Impact: See the correct file size for downloaded content in your download manager
We fixed an issue where tracks shared through a project share link couldn't be downloaded directly. Now when you access a track through a project share, you'll be able to download it just like you would with an individual track share. The fix also ensures that download counts are properly tracked regardless of how the track is shared.
Impact: Tracks shared via project links are now downloadable
We've fixed an issue where project downloads and previews were missing tracks that were added through our current track management system. Projects now correctly show and download all their tracks, regardless of how they were added to the project.
Impact: Project downloads now include all tracks instead of showing 'No tracks in this project'
Bulk sending features (send-to-list, multi-inbox select, and campaign creation) are now restricted and require workspace authorization. If your workspace hasn't been approved for bulk sending yet, these features will be hidden from your inbox and directory interfaces. Contact your workspace administrator if you need access to bulk sending capabilities.
Impact: Enhanced security with controlled access to bulk sending features
Labels can now view the contract PDF directly before countersigning a deal. We've also added a clear reminder that countersigning is final and will move the deal to in progress, encouraging you to read the contract first.
Impact: Review contract details before taking final action
We've fixed how Wave 2 features are made available to users. Previously, some advanced features like sample disclosure questions and reference playlists were showing up inconsistently. Now they only appear when your workspace has been granted access to Wave 2, ensuring a consistent experience across all submission forms and settings.
Impact: Sample and vocal pack disclosure features now appear consistently based on your workspace access level
We've fixed a critical issue where bulk shortlisting and other bulk actions would freeze when you were offline, requiring a restart to recover. Now when you're offline, bulk actions are safely queued and will sync when you're back online. Downloads are disabled offline with a clear message since they require an internet connection.
Impact: Bulk shortlisting, moving, declining, and archiving now work smoothly offline without freezing
We've updated the demo bio pages with improved layout options for displaying music catalogs. Bio pages now support both grid and list view layouts for browsing releases, and we've refreshed the demo content with new artist and label personas featuring a cohesive visual theme.
Impact: Choose between grid and list layouts when browsing music catalogs on bio pages
We've fixed a critical issue where corrupted text (including technical markers) could appear in the app's interface. This was caused by a process failure during development that went unnoticed. We've now added multiple safety checks to prevent this from happening again.
Impact: More reliable app experience with no unexpected technical text appearing in the interface
You can now run AI detection analysis on tracks at the workspace level, in addition to the existing inbox-based detection. This gives you more flexibility in how you manage and analyze your uploaded content, with the ability to scan all tracks owned by or submitted through a workspace.
Impact: Analyze AI-generated content across your entire workspace, not just individual inboxes
We've polished the campaign design editor with three key improvements: you can now click directly on your campaign name in the header to rename it without losing your undo/redo history, text you edit now displays exactly as it will be sent (fixing a bug where text appeared smaller while editing), and the import contacts dialog has been redesigned to match our current design standards for a cleaner, more consistent experience.
Impact: Rename campaigns faster with click-to-edit—no modal required, and your editing history is preserved
We've added Spotlight Discovery, a new way to explore artists in your Spotlight feed. Press play to start exploring, then interact with artist tiles on an infinite map to light them up and discover their tracks. It's a radio-like, explorative browsing experience with a unique visual interface.
Impact: New interactive map interface makes discovering artists more engaging and visual
When a track in Spotlight was removed, notifications about reactions, downloads, or saves for that track would remain in your inbox showing confusing messages like 'Reacted to undefined'. We've fixed this so those orphaned notifications are now properly cleaned up when tracks are deleted.
Impact: Cleaner inbox without confusing notifications for deleted tracks
We've fixed a bug that would occasionally freeze the studio page after saving resource edits, requiring a manual page reload to regain control. The page should now remain fully responsive immediately after closing the resource editor.
Impact: Eliminates the frustrating freeze that occurred after saving resource changes
We've fixed a bug that caused the Studio page to become unresponsive after saving changes to a resource. Previously, saving would temporarily freeze the interface, making it difficult to interact with other elements. The page now responds smoothly immediately after you save your edits.
Impact: Page remains responsive and interactive after saving resource changes
We fixed an issue where uploading a new version of a track would not reactivate a submission that had been marked as unavailable. Now when you upload a new version, the submission will properly return to the curator's review queue so they can evaluate your updated audio.
Impact: New track versions are now properly reviewed instead of being ignored
We've expanded our platform to support digital music releases as a new product type. Artists can now create and manage music releases with tracks, artwork, and distribution links to major streaming platforms like Spotify, Apple Music, and more. This is part of our Store & Elevate integration to give creators more ways to share their work.
Impact: Create and sell digital music releases directly alongside other products
The admin posts management page now displays only staff-authored posts and excludes chat messages, giving studio owners a cleaner view of their published content. This prevents member activity from cluttering your content management interface.
Impact: Cleaner admin dashboard focused on staff-created content
We've added a new preference that lets you control whether the Composer remembers your last submission. When enabled, reopening the Composer will restore your previously selected tracks, title, message, submission type, and sender inbox. When disabled, the Composer opens with a clean slate. This preference is off by default, so if you previously had automatic track selection enabled, you'll need to turn on this new setting to keep that behavior.
Impact: Save time on repetitive submissions by having your last choices pre-filled
We've significantly improved the Reach campaign editor with new capabilities and a cleaner layout. You can now upload images directly with drag-and-drop support, edit text with rich formatting (bold, italic, underline, and more), and access comprehensive design controls for every block including width, alignment, padding, and rounded corners.
Impact: Upload images by clicking or dragging them into the editor with real-time feedback and error handling
We've improved how the app tracks which tracks you've played. Previously, the played status would only update after refreshing the queue. Now it will refresh more reliably when you receive updated data from the server, ensuring your listening history is always accurate.
Impact: More reliable played/unplayed track status that syncs with server data
We've fixed five bugs affecting studio owners, with particular improvements for free plan users. Coach pages now show only video content, free plan members receive feedback credits properly, studio owners get notified when members cancel through Stripe, plan archiving works reliably, and the Elevate navigation has been restored for studios with Elevate stores.
Impact: Free plan members now receive their monthly feedback credits automatically
We've added smarter offline storage monitoring to help you manage downloaded tracks on your device. A new sidebar indicator shows your cache size at a glance with a status indicator, and alerts you when the cache is getting full or sync errors occur. You can now quickly review storage usage, retry failed syncs, or clear the cache directly from a convenient action sheet.
Impact: Stay aware of how much device storage your offline tracks are using with a persistent sidebar indicator
We've fixed a rare but critical bug where two customers could both successfully book the last available slot in a session. The issue happened when payments were processed at nearly the same time. Now, one customer gets the slot and the other receives a full refund with a clear explanation—no more conflicting bookings.
Impact: Eliminated the rare double-booking race condition that could occur when multiple customers book the last available slot simultaneously
After completing a purchase, you'll now land on a branded confirmation page that shows your order details, what to expect next, and quick access to your session or full order workspace. You can revisit this page anytime using a secure, expiring link from your confirmation email — no account login needed.
Impact: Immediate post-purchase confirmation with clear next steps tailored to your service type (mixing, mastering, feedback, or sessions)
Your Reach campaign list now displays open rates and click rates directly in the table, alongside the absolute counts. This means you can quickly see how well each campaign performed without having to open a separate stats page. For campaigns that haven't been sent yet, we show a placeholder instead of misleading numbers.
Impact: Instantly see campaign performance metrics (open and click rates) without leaving the campaign list
When creating a new campaign, you can now use a previous sent campaign as a starting point instead of starting from a template. This is faster and more relevant for creators who send campaigns regularly—your last month's campaign is now just a tab away when creating this month's.
Impact: Save time by reusing the structure and content from recently sent campaigns
We've redesigned the checkout experience to match your store's unique look and feel. When you purchase a service, you'll now see a custom checkout page with your store's accent colors, clear delivery information, and a cleaner payment interface—instead of a generic external payment form.
Impact: Checkout experience now reflects your store's branding and design
You can now toggle between desktop and mobile views when previewing your email campaigns. This lets you see exactly how your message will look on the devices your audience actually uses—since most emails are opened on mobile. The preview defaults to desktop, and you can switch between the two using the new device toggle buttons.
Impact: See how your campaigns render on mobile devices before sending, matching real user experience
You can now verify and configure your own domain for sending Reach campaigns directly from Workspace Settings. This replaces the shared Trackstack sending address with your branded domain, improving deliverability and brand recognition. After entering your domain, you'll receive DNS records to publish at your registrar, and you can check verification status at any time.
Impact: Send campaigns from your own branded domain instead of a shared address, improving email deliverability and brand trust
When editing a Reach contact, you can now properly clear the contact's name and phone number by removing the text and saving. Previously, these fields could not be cleared once they were set.
Impact: Ability to remove contact name and phone information when editing contacts
We've fixed an issue with the track completion checklist that was showing incomplete states for tracks waiting on audio analysis. The checklist now properly displays mastering analysis results once your audio has been processed, and only shows matching inbox suggestions when audio features are available.
Impact: Cleaner, more accurate checklist that only shows steps you can act on
We've resolved a crash that was occurring when displaying dates and times with timezone information on post pages in Studio. The date and time will now display correctly without causing errors.
Impact: Post pages no longer crash when rendering date/time information
We've fixed an issue that was preventing our development and testing processes from running smoothly. This update ensures that the audience import feature works reliably without any disruptions.
Impact: More stable and reliable audience import functionality
We've added a completion checklist to help you prepare your uploads for submission. Each track now shows a progress indicator with a guided checklist covering mastering analysis, artwork upload, genre tagging, inbox assignment, and inbox suggestions. Complete each step inline or open the full checklist sheet to see everything at once.
Impact: Stay organized with a clear, visual checklist of what's needed before sending tracks to labels and curators
We've redesigned how you import contacts into your audiences with a new step-by-step wizard that guides you through uploading CSV files, mapping columns, previewing data, and reviewing results. You can now also add, edit, and delete individual contacts directly in your audience, plus select and manage multiple contacts at once with bulk actions.
Impact: Smarter CSV imports with automatic column detection and sample data preview, reducing setup errors
Fixed a critical issue where members couldn't post or react in channels set to 'Everyone', even though those permissions were configured. The UI now properly respects channel permission settings for posting and reactions. Additionally, we fixed a display issue where some channels weren't showing in the module list as intended.
Impact: Members can now post in channels explicitly set to allow 'Everyone' to post
We've fixed Spanish language translations throughout the app that were previously showing in English. This includes the Discover and Communities pages, Find a Pro section, Tools sidebar, and track detail panels. Spanish-speaking users will now see properly translated text in all these areas.
Impact: Spanish users now see correct translations instead of English text in previously untranslated sections
We've fixed a problem where navigating between pages on public sites would cause the layout to break or display incorrectly. When clicking between tabs or pages, the navigation sidebar and header will now stay visible and properly formatted. Previously, navigating from the homepage to other pages would hide these elements, and navigating back would display them incorrectly.
Impact: Consistent navigation experience when clicking between different pages on your public site
