Product updates, release notes, and changelog from the Trackstack team.
We've added support for cover images in studios. This allows studios to display a cover image alongside their existing branding elements, providing more customization options for your studio's appearance.
Impact: Greater customization options for your studio's visual branding
Public studios now have a professional homepage that greets visitors before they log in. The homepage showcases your cover image, logo, description, membership plans, coaches, and upcoming events—instead of showing a locked content teaser. You can toggle this new homepage on or off in your studio settings, and upload a custom cover image to make it yours.
Impact: First-time visitors see a welcoming, professional homepage that explains what your studio is about
We've fixed an issue where store owners could select countries that Stripe Connect doesn't support (like Turkey) during onboarding, which would result in confusing errors. Now the system properly prevents you from selecting unsupported countries and added support for Brazil and Malaysia, which Stripe now supports.
Impact: Clearer, error-free onboarding experience when setting up Stripe Connect payments
We've fixed two critical issues that were preventing users from completing workspace onboarding. First, onboarding would sometimes loop back to the start even after completion—this is now resolved. Second, the handle/slug availability checker wasn't working correctly during setup—it now properly validates your chosen inbox handle in real time.
Impact: Workspace onboarding now completes successfully without getting stuck in a loop
The Reach section now features a proper dashboard landing page instead of redirecting directly to Audiences. The overview displays your key metrics at a glance—total contacts, audiences, and campaigns sent—along with your 5 most recent campaigns for quick access.
Impact: Get a complete overview of your Reach activity in one place
The right-hand sidebar in Studio now displays a new "Upcoming Events" section showing your next 3 published events in chronological order. This makes it easier to see what's coming up without navigating away from where you are working.
Impact: Quick visibility of your upcoming events at a glance while working in Studio
You can now create, rename, and delete named audience lists in Reach to organize your contacts for targeted campaigns. Each audience shows how many contacts it contains, and you can add contacts to an audience through a new drill-down interface. When creating campaigns, you'll need to select an audience from your lists.
Impact: Organize contacts into named groups for more targeted and strategic campaign planning
When creating or editing a Reach campaign, you now see a live preview of how your email will look as you type and make changes. The preview pane appears on the right side of the editor (or below on smaller screens) and updates automatically about 300ms after you stop typing, so you can see your subject line, sender name, and email content in real time before sending.
Impact: See exactly how your campaign email will appear to recipients before sending
We're preparing the next phase of the Store and Elevate merger by building a unified design system. This update lays the groundwork with new, modern component designs for product cards, audio comparison tools, and service information displays. These changes are currently behind the scenes and will roll out to users in an upcoming release.
Impact: Unified, modern visual experience across Store and Elevate services
We've fixed remaining text strings that were displaying in English instead of Spanish throughout the Inbox and Spotlight features. This includes navigation tabs, submission type badges, bulk action modals, activity feeds, and other interface elements. Spanish-speaking users will now see the complete interface in their selected language.
Impact: Complete Spanish language support across all Inbox and Spotlight features
We've improved two key features in Reach: your Audience contacts table now shows all your contacts with pagination (no more silent 50-contact limit), and campaign block reordering is now fully keyboard-accessible with dedicated move buttons for easier navigation.
Impact: View and manage all your audience contacts without hitting a hidden 50-contact limit
We've fixed an issue where Google Analytics 4 (GA4) measurement IDs weren't being loaded on publicly shared studios, even after being configured. GA4 events will now properly track on your public studio pages after visitors accept cookies.
Impact: GA4 analytics now correctly track visitor activity on your public studio
We've fixed an issue where people who received review notifications from public submissions couldn't access them if they didn't have an existing account. Now, when you click a notification link, you can sign in with the email that received the notification, and we'll automatically link it to your account so you can see your submission details.
Impact: Access submission reviews even if you don't have a pre-existing account
When you attach a video from your library to a post or lesson, we now automatically generate a draft description and key takeaways using AI. You can instantly add this draft to your post with one click, then edit it however you like. It's completely optional—publishing is never affected.
Impact: Save time writing descriptions for your video posts
We've fixed an issue where studio search would sometimes fail with an error page instead of showing proper error messages. Search requests now have better timeout handling, so if a search takes too long, you'll see a clear error message instead of a broken page.
Impact: Search failures now display proper error messages instead of broken pages
Studio owners and admins can now pin one post to the top of their home feed and one post per channel to keep important content front and center. When pinning a new post to a spot that already has a pinned post, you'll be asked to confirm the replacement. Pinned posts display with a "Pinned" badge so members know they're highlighted by staff.
Impact: Highlight important announcements or content by pinning them to the top of your feed
We fixed an issue where studio logos weren't displaying correctly when viewing a public studio without being logged in. Previously, you would see placeholder text instead of the studio's logo in the sidebar and mobile header. Now the logo displays properly.
Impact: Studio logos now display correctly in public studio views
You can now take private notes while watching any video or lesson. Notes appear in a panel below the player and automatically save as you type. All your notes are collected in a new Notebook page, making it easy to review what you've written across all your content.
Impact: Capture key takeaways while watching videos without interrupting playback
We've improved how payment methods are managed in your billing settings. The payment method setup, default selection, and removal processes are now more reliable and secure. These changes ensure your payment information is handled safely and consistently across the platform.
Impact: More secure handling of payment method operations with improved verification
When viewing videos inside a course lesson, you'll now see the same thumbnail image that appears in the video library before you press play. This gives you a preview of the video content and makes the lesson view more consistent with the library experience.
Impact: See video previews before playing them in course lessons
You can now click a sidebar section title (like "Fundamental Courses") to open a dedicated page showing all channels in that section as cards. The chevron icon still works as before to collapse and expand the section inline.
Impact: Faster browsing of channels grouped by section without navigating individual channels
We've launched a new campaign email builder for Reach that lets you create and edit email campaigns using a drag-and-drop block editor. You can now build emails from reusable blocks, save drafts, and manage your campaigns from a centralized list.
Impact: Intuitive drag-and-drop interface for building emails without coding
You can now build your Reach audience by importing contacts from a CSV file. Simply upload a spreadsheet with email addresses and optional names, and we'll validate and add them to your contact list. This gives you an easy way to get started with reaching out to your fanbase.
Impact: Easily bulk-import contacts by uploading a CSV file with emails and names
We've added the foundation for a new Reach product to our platform. Users with early access to this feature will see a new Reach section in their workspace navigation. This is an early-stage release with placeholder pages as we continue building out the full experience.
Impact: Early access to the new Reach product for eligible users
We've fixed a bug where dragging videos or lessons between course sections would sometimes silently fail and snap back to their original location. The drag-and-drop behavior is now reliable and consistent—your changes will persist every time.
Impact: Drag-and-drop between course sections now works reliably every time
Fixed three issues that prevented instructors from managing course lessons and videos. You can now delete lessons using a menu, remove library videos that stay attached on save, and see videos you've uploaded or recorded directly in the editor instead of an empty upload box.
Impact: Delete lessons from courses with a confirmation dialog to prevent accidental removal
You can now add a custom suffix (like your artist name or label name) to every track filename you download, making it easy to identify where your music came from. This optional setting appears in your download preferences and applies to both individual and batch downloads without affecting the track's ID3 tags.
Impact: Brand your downloads with a custom identifier (e.g., 'Track Name - Your Label.mp3')
We've fixed an issue where coaches could perform feedback actions (like adding comments) while a reassignment request was pending. Now, when you request to reassign feedback, those actions are properly disabled until the reassignment is processed, preventing confusion and ensuring clarity about the feedback status.
Impact: Prevents accidental actions on feedback that's pending reassignment
Fixed an issue where toggling your studio's privacy setting wasn't being saved. When you switched the Private Studio toggle on or off and clicked Save, the setting would revert after refreshing the page. Now your privacy preference saves properly every time, with confirmation messages to let you know it worked.
Impact: Your privacy settings now persist after you save them
We've added the using-superpowers skill to help AI agents work more effectively by establishing clear guidelines for when and how to use available skills. This ensures agents follow a consistent approach before taking any action, leading to more reliable and predictable behavior.
Impact: More consistent and reliable AI agent behavior across conversations
We fixed an issue where project share links would fail to load (showing a 404 error) if you selected a non-default inbox when creating the share link. Now, project share links work correctly regardless of which inbox you choose in the sharing dialog.
Impact: Project share links now work reliably with any inbox in your workspace
We've modernized how email campaigns and event notifications work behind the scenes, making them faster and more reliable. Event publishers will now see improved notification delivery, and the email campaign interface has been streamlined for better performance.
Impact: Faster, more reliable event notification delivery to your members
We've fixed an issue where the Subscribe page would sometimes redirect to a page that didn't exist, causing a 404 error. The page now correctly determines whether to show your landing page or the subscription options, preventing these broken redirects.
Impact: Subscribe page now loads reliably without 404 errors
The music player now displays mastering information for your tracks, including loudness, dynamic range, and true peak levels. Click the speaker icon next to the track key to view detailed mastering stats in a convenient popup.
Impact: Quick access to mastering metrics while reviewing tracks without leaving the player
We've modernized how your studio handles module installation and link previews behind the scenes. Module management now uses our improved API system for better reliability, and link previews in threads and posts are now more secure and consistent. These changes make the studio more stable and responsive.
Impact: More reliable module installation and state management
When you upload a revised version of a track, it now automatically becomes the main playable track displayed in the submission row. The original version remains accessible in a dedicated versions panel so you can still play or download it anytime. Version badges (like "V2 · Revision") clearly show which revision you're currently viewing.
Impact: Latest track revisions are now the default playback version without needing to manually select them
We've fixed an issue where coaches weren't showing up on the welcome landing page when you weren't signed in. Now, whether you're a new visitor or a signed-in member, you'll see your studio's coaches listed on the welcome page.
Impact: Coaches now display correctly for all visitors, including those not signed in
We've completed a comprehensive design review and identified two critical production bugs affecting revenue reporting and payment processing. Revenue numbers on the admin dashboard are based on incorrect fee calculations, and Stripe payment restrictions aren't updating properly in real-time. We're also documenting important findings about our data architecture to prevent future issues.
Impact: Corrected revenue reporting will provide accurate financial data for business decisions
Anonymous visitors to your public studio now see a more complete experience that mirrors what members see. The right sidebar shows trending posts and calendar subscriptions, a search bar appears in the header, and a Discover link is available in the navigation rail.
Impact: Visitors get a consistent experience whether they're logged in or browsing publicly
Your studio is now publicly browsable by default. Visitors can see preview cards of your posts, courses, events, and other content with a clear invitation to join or log in. You can toggle this in Settings to go fully private if you prefer. Importantly, billing, payments, and memberships work the same way regardless of this setting.
Impact: Your studio automatically becomes a funnel to acquire new members—anyone can preview your content and see what they'd get by joining
We've resolved a critical issue where users could become permanently locked out of the application after a workspace was deleted. Previously, the system would try to restore access to the deleted workspace, leaving users stuck on a loading screen with no way to recover. Now, the system automatically assigns users to an available workspace or creates a new one, ensuring uninterrupted access.
Impact: Users can no longer get stuck on a loading screen after a workspace is deleted
We've improved how incomplete payments are handled in your member management. Members who abandon their payment process are now properly cleaned up and won't clutter your member list, while those still within their payment window remain visible under a dedicated 'Incomplete' section. Members can now successfully rejoin after a failed payment attempt.
Impact: Cleaner member list that accurately reflects actual members versus those still completing payment
Studio owners can now access the Applications tab and manage free membership plans even if they haven't connected a Stripe account yet. This lets you invite members and build your community before setting up payments.
Impact: Start inviting members to your studio immediately without requiring Stripe setup
When creating a new Studio, you'll now need to upload a logo before proceeding past step 2 of the onboarding wizard. This ensures every Studio launches with a branded logo instead of a default monogram. If you remove a logo mid-setup, you'll need to upload a new one before continuing.
Impact: Ensures your Studio has a professional branded logo from day one
We've fixed an issue where newly invited or onboarded studio members weren't showing up correctly in member lists and plan management pages. Members created through various signup and invitation flows are now properly displayed with their correct subscription status across all admin interfaces.
Impact: Member lists now accurately reflect all newly added or invited members
We've fixed several crashes that could occur when opening the Find a Pro directory, Lists page, and other areas of the app. These issues were caused by missing code references that would cause the page to fail to load. The app should now be more stable and reliable across these features.
Impact: Find a Pro directory now loads without crashing
We've fixed a bug in the thread panel that was causing unnecessary repeated loading of replies when clicking the Reply button. The thread panel now displays and functions more smoothly when you're replying to messages in channels.
Impact: Thread replies load more reliably without unnecessary repeated fetches
We've fixed an issue where empty collections would incorrectly show a 404 error page. Now you can view empty collections and see a proper message when a collection doesn't exist or you don't have permission to access it. We've also made the save post modal wider on desktop for better usability.
Impact: Empty collections now display correctly instead of showing an error
We've fixed issues in the onboarding experience that prevented dropdown options from displaying properly and made it easier to embed videos. You can now paste video embed codes directly, and dropdown menus will show their options correctly during setup.
Impact: Dropdown menus now display options properly during onboarding
We've improved the studio seeding experience with better author bylines that now display real names and avatars, properly sized embedded players (taller SoundCloud, responsive YouTube), a new theme color picker in the setup dialog, and personalized welcome posts with theme-matched banners for every new seeded studio.
Impact: Author bylines now display real persona names and avatars instead of generic placeholders
