Product updates, release notes, and changelog from the Trackstack team.
Artists now receive a weekly email digest showing how the labels you submitted tracks to engaged with them. Each week you'll see plays, downloads, supports, and shortlists broken down by track and label, along with week-over-week comparisons to track your momentum. The report arrives every Thursday so you can see how your submissions are performing across your network.
Impact: Track how each of your submitted tracks is performing across different labels in one weekly digest
We've activated the Suru partnership with a new exclusive discount code: get 30% off for 6 months using code TRACKSTACK30. We've also corrected the SoundCloud offer from 2 months to 3 months free of Artist Pro, so you get an extra month of benefits.
Impact: Access exclusive Suru discount with code TRACKSTACK30 for 30% off their sample packs and sounds for 6 months
Store owners can now see all items in orders containing multiple products (like track packs with sessions). Order cards show a summary of everything purchased, the sidebar displays itemized details with quantities and totals, and service work completion is now tracked separately from session scheduling. Single-item orders work exactly as before.
Impact: See all products in an order at a glance instead of just the first item
We've added a full shopping basket feature to the store, letting you add multiple products (digital downloads, mastering services, and session bookings) before checking out together. You can now review everything in one place, hold session slots while you shop, and complete payment all at once instead of checking out item by item.
Impact: Add multiple products to your basket and review them together before paying
We've fixed an issue where the reply thread option was appearing even when you didn't have permission to post messages. Now, when messaging is disabled for you in a channel or conversation, the reply button will be hidden, and any attempt to reply in a thread will show a clear permission message. This prevents confusion and provides a clearer experience.
Impact: Clearer interface that only shows actions you can actually perform
We fixed an issue where the add reaction button was still visible even when reactions were disabled for a channel or member. Now, when reactions are disabled, the button is completely hidden instead of appearing disabled, providing a cleaner and less confusing interface.
Impact: Clearer interface when reactions aren't available
We've added a new profile switcher to the sidebar that makes it easier to manage multiple inboxes. Instead of seeing a separate row for each inbox, you now have a dedicated switcher at the top of your navigation that lets you quickly switch between profiles. We've also simplified navigation URLs throughout the app for a cleaner experience.
Impact: Easily switch between different profiles without cluttering your sidebar
We've fixed an issue where the settings icon wasn't consistently available across all channel types. Now, channel administrators can access the settings gear icon and manage channel configurations for audio, course, and post channels just as easily as they could before for other channel types.
Impact: Admins can now consistently access channel settings across all channel types
We've fixed an issue where studio admins could see comments and likes that were supposed to be hidden from members. Now when you hide comments or likes on a post, those settings apply consistently to everyone—including admins. Additionally, when comments are closed, admins can still see and moderate them, but the comment button is properly disabled for regular members.
Impact: Studio admins now see the same view as members when comments or likes are hidden, ensuring consistent moderation
We've fixed an issue where your monthly feedback credits weren't being properly reset after your subscription renewed. Previously, the system was looking at the calendar month instead of your actual billing period, which caused credits to appear stale or not refresh at the right time. Now your credits will accurately reflect your current billing cycle.
Impact: Monthly feedback credits now reset correctly when your subscription renews
Organizations can now search for and request to manage workspaces that already exist on Trackstack, rather than only being able to invite new users. Workspace owners receive an in-app notification and can approve or decline the request, with the option to ask for clarification if needed.
Impact: Organizations can onboard existing Trackstack users without requiring them to create new accounts
We've resolved an issue where the video player's play button would flicker and briefly reappear while a video was loading in Studio. The player now loads more smoothly without these visual interruptions, providing a better viewing experience.
Impact: Smoother video player loading experience without visual glitches
When you download sample packs or releases from your order, you'll now see exactly how many downloads you've used out of your limit. The system will warn you when you're running low on downloads and prevent further downloads once you've reached your limit, helping you manage your downloads more intentionally.
Impact: See your download count in real-time (e.g., 'Downloads used: 3 of 5') so you know how many you have left
When purchasing digital products like releases and sample packs, you'll now see the complete list of tracks or samples included with your purchase in the Review & Pay summary. Previously, this information wasn't displayed, making it harder to verify exactly what you were buying before completing your order.
Impact: Better clarity on what's included in your digital purchase before checkout
We fixed an issue where signed-in users downloading their profile would be unnecessarily asked to verify their email address again through an OTP challenge. Now, if you're already signed in and confirming your own email, the download process will proceed directly without the extra verification step.
Impact: Faster download process for signed-in users re-confirming their own email
We fixed an issue where the save button was incorrectly disabled during onboarding when a username was automatically filled in for you. Now the save button will be properly enabled when you have a valid auto-generated username, allowing you to proceed smoothly through the onboarding process.
Impact: Onboarding process now works as intended with auto-filled usernames
We fixed an issue on the Studio welcome page where multiple loading spinners would stack on top of each other during page load. Now the page displays smoothly with the already-rendered content instead of showing distracting loading indicators.
Impact: Cleaner, less distracting page load experience
Store owners can now easily unpublish live products and return them to draft status. You'll find an unpublish button in the product editor and next to each published product in your products list. When you unpublish a product, it stops appearing in your store and customers can't place new orders for it, though existing orders remain unaffected.
Impact: Easily take products offline without archiving them
We've cleaned up our codebase by removing unused design files and the demo store. All store functionality remains the same—you'll notice faster load times and improved stability. The demo store has been replaced with a link to our professionals directory.
Impact: Faster page load times due to smaller codebase
We've updated and improved text throughout the inbox application in English and Spanish, including new navigation options, refined messaging, and better support resources. These changes help provide clearer guidance and a more polished experience across the platform.
Impact: Clearer, more helpful messaging throughout the app
Releases now support only one artist per contract, streamlining the release management process. This ensures contracts reach the correct artist and simplifies the workflow for managing multiple artist releases.
Impact: Clearer contract management with one artist per release
We've completed a behind-the-scenes fix that strengthens the type checking for our web application, catching potential errors before they reach users. This improves reliability and prevents certain classes of bugs from occurring in production.
Impact: More stable and reliable application with fewer runtime errors
When you rescheduled a session, the order confirmation page was still showing your original booking time instead of the new rescheduled time. We've fixed this so the page now correctly displays the updated session time after you reschedule.
Impact: Order confirmation page now shows the correct rescheduled time
We fixed an issue where text was difficult or impossible to read in dark-themed stores during checkout and file upload. Labels, form inputs, and other text elements now display with proper contrast in dark mode, making the ordering experience much clearer.
Impact: Text is now clearly visible and readable in dark-themed stores
We've fixed an issue where customers and store owners couldn't send messages after an order was marked complete, even though the system was supposed to allow messaging for 72 hours afterward. Messages were silently failing to send on the customer side, and store owners saw an error. Both sides can now send messages normally during this grace period.
Impact: Customers can now ask follow-up questions after receiving their order without the conversation being completely closed
Previously, the reschedule and cancel buttons on your order confirmation page weren't working—you could only manage your sessions through the links in your confirmation email. We've fixed this so you can now reschedule or cancel your sessions directly from the order page itself, with the same 3-day booking window as the email links provide.
Impact: Reschedule and cancel session bookings directly from your order page without needing your confirmation email
When you receive an invitation email to join an organisation on Trackstack, you can now click the link and complete the entire acceptance flow without leaving the app. Whether you need to sign in, create a new account, choose a workspace, or pay for a seat, the invitation landing page guides you through each step—including showing you exactly what you'll pay (or won't pay if the organisation covers it) before you commit.
Impact: Complete invitation acceptance without switching between email and the app
We've resolved an issue where newly approved free plan members couldn't log in to their studio accounts. Previously, approved members would receive an error message saying they weren't members of the studio, even though their access had been granted. This fix ensures that login permissions update correctly immediately after approval.
Impact: Newly approved free plan members can now log in successfully without delays
We've improved our analytics tracking to better understand how you interact with posts and comments. When you react to posts or comment reactions in the classic feed, we now properly record these interactions to help us understand feature usage and improve your experience.
Impact: Better insights into product usage patterns to drive future improvements
We've fixed an issue where the Studio menu item was missing from navigation in the Inbox application. Additionally, we've resolved a crash that could occur in the StudioCard component and made several stability improvements across our platform.
Impact: Studio menu item is now visible and accessible in the navigation sidebar
We've resolved a crash that occurred in the Studio when interacting with the reach dropdown menu. This fix ensures the Studio loads and functions smoothly without unexpected errors when you access reach-related options.
Impact: Studio no longer crashes when using the reach dropdown
We fixed an issue where invited members assigned to paid plans could access the studio without completing payment. Now, all invited members (whether on trial or paid plans) must complete the checkout process and make payment before gaining access to the studio. This ensures studios are properly compensated when inviting members to paid plans.
Impact: Studio owners can now confidently invite members to paid plans knowing payment will be collected before access is granted
When you received a notification about someone downloading your track via a share link, the notification detail pane would appear blank. We've fixed this so it now displays the same rich information as other notifications—including the track artwork, waveform, and a complete activity timeline showing who has viewed, played, or downloaded your track through that share link.
Impact: Share link download notifications now display full track details instead of a blank page
We've redesigned how you invite artists to your organisation. You can now choose who pays for each artist's seat—either the artist (with a free trial) or your organisation—and see exactly what that costs upfront. You'll also see a list of pending invites with the ability to resend or withdraw them, and track membership status across your roster.
Impact: Choose between artist-paid (with 30-day free trial) or organisation-paid seating per invite, with clear upfront pricing
We fixed an issue where status badges throughout the organization hub were displaying in the wrong colors. Plan badges, role badges, and billing status badges now display with their correct color coding—green for active/owner status, blue for secondary plans, yellow for warnings, and red for cancelled items.
Impact: Status information is now visually accurate and easier to scan at a glance
We've fixed an issue where studio owners were being redirected to a login page instead of the payment setup page when trying to enable payments. Now, when you click 'Enable Payments' from anywhere in your studio, you'll be taken directly to the payment setup page with the correct context, so you can start accepting subscriptions without any extra steps.
Impact: Seamless access to payment setup without unexpected login redirects
We've fixed an issue where the convert channel type dialog would lose your access rules, plan, cohort, or member selections when you reopened it. Now when you open the conversion dialog, your previously selected settings are properly preserved and won't be dropped from your conversion request.
Impact: Your access rule selections are no longer lost when reopening the conversion dialog
We've fixed an issue where adding reactions to posts wasn't being properly recorded in our analytics system. This fix ensures that your engagement with posts is accurately tracked, helping us better understand how you interact with content.
Impact: More accurate analytics data about user engagement
We've fixed an issue where Google Analytics Measurement IDs weren't being properly saved in the Studio admin integrations settings. This fix ensures that your Google Analytics configuration is now correctly persisted and retrieved when you update your integration settings.
Impact: Google Analytics Measurement ID now saves correctly in admin settings
We fixed an issue where established studios with a history of cancelled memberships could be incorrectly locked out of accepting new members. Now only current active members count toward your studio's member limit, allowing new signups to proceed as expected based on your actual current membership.
Impact: New members can now join your studio without being blocked by historical cancelled subscriptions
We've fixed an issue where the last track in your Spotlight Discovery list was being hidden behind the dock at the bottom of the screen. Now you'll be able to see and interact with all tracks without any obstruction.
Impact: Last track in the list is now fully visible and accessible
Your Orbit page bio now has a 240 visible-character limit to keep your page looking great. A live character counter appears as you approach the limit, and typing stops automatically when you reach it. If you have an existing bio longer than 240 characters, a red counter will prompt you to shorten it before saving.
Impact: Typing stops cleanly at the limit — no text appears and then disappears, and your cursor won't jump
We've redesigned how you submit demos to inboxes on artist pages. Instead of an embedded form, you now see a clean, native card that matches the page's theme. Tap the card or drag and drop a track directly onto it to open a sleek bottom sheet where you can complete your submission—your dropped files are already loaded, so nothing is wasted.
Impact: Drag-and-drop files directly onto the card—dropped tracks automatically appear in the submission form
Events in your studio's home feed are now displayed in the order they're scheduled to happen, rather than when they were created. Each event now displays a label showing whether it's upcoming, currently live, or has already happened, along with an 'Event' type indicator to match how posts are labeled.
Impact: Find upcoming events more easily by seeing them in chronological order
We've fixed an issue where the 'Hide genres from public profile' setting wasn't being fully respected when viewing public inbox profiles. Now when you enable this setting in your Genre Filtering preferences, your genres will be completely hidden from your public profile page, including in the shared profile data and submission form.
Impact: Your genre privacy preference is now consistently applied across all public profile views
We've fixed an issue where newly signed-up users would briefly see the inbox page before being redirected to complete their onboarding. Now the app waits until your account is fully set up before showing any workspace pages, providing a seamless onboarding experience without any visual jumping or flashing.
Impact: Eliminates the brief flash of the inbox page during sign-up
We've completely redesigned your link-in-bio page with a modern visual refresh. Choose between two header styles (classic or full-bleed hero), pick from 10 beautifully curated color themes, and now embed your submission form directly on your page so fans can send demos without leaving.
Impact: Two header layout options (Classic with avatar badge or Hero with full-bleed photo) for a polished, professional look
Studio Live streaming is now available to every studio, provided your plan includes live streaming access. This completes the rollout from our pilot phase, making it easier for all eligible studios to create and broadcast live events without waiting for individual enablement.
Impact: Live streaming is now universally available to all studios with appropriate plan entitlements
We've fixed how list names are validated when you create or edit lists. Previously, if you tried to create a list with a name that was too long, you'd see a confusing technical error message. Now the input field automatically prevents you from typing beyond the allowed character limit, giving you clear feedback as you type.
Impact: Input fields now enforce the 50-character limit for list names in real-time, preventing rejected submissions
When a label requests revised stems on a release, artists will now receive an in-app notification and see the request logged in their deal thread. Previously, stem requests were only sent by email, which could easily be missed, leaving artists unaware of what the label was waiting on.
Impact: Stem requests now appear in your notification bell so you never miss them
