We've fixed how list names are validated when you create or edit lists. Previously, if you tried to create a list with a name that was too long, you'd see a confusing technical error message. Now the input field automatically prevents you from typing beyond the allowed character limit, giving you clear feedback as you type.

When a label requests revised stems on a release, artists will now receive an in-app notification and see the request logged in their deal thread. Previously, stem requests were only sent by email, which could easily be missed, leaving artists unaware of what the label was waiting on.

Studio Live events now include a live chat panel where viewers can interact in real-time during broadcasts. Studio owners can also opt into low-latency mode when creating events for faster, more interactive streams—though live captions won't be available in this mode.

Store owners can now create, edit, and organize product categories directly in the app through a new Storefront settings tab. When creating products, you'll see a category selector that automatically filters options based on product type, and products now display their assigned category throughout the app.

When you verify your email on tstack.link and then visit my.trackstack.app, you'll no longer be asked to enter a second verification code. Your identity carries over securely between the two services, so you can access your inbox immediately after verification.

Store owners can now organize their storefronts into browsable categories with dedicated landing pages. Customers see category tiles on the home page (when multiple categories exist), can explore each category's full inventory on its own page, and easily navigate back to categories from individual products.

When you receive an invitation to join a workspace, you'll now be taken directly to your inbox instead of a sign-up landing page. We've also updated the button text from 'Go to Trackstack' to 'Open my inbox' to make it clearer what happens when you click it.

When downloading a profile without an existing account, you'll now need to verify your email address before the download begins. This ensures we have a valid email on file. The process is streamlined with options to skip email verification if needed, and your download will still complete either way.

When someone downloads a file you've shared, the notification now displays the downloader's identity and their inbox, making it easy to see who accessed your shared content. You can click the notification to navigate directly to their inbox profile.

When downloading through a shared link, you'll now see an option to create your free Trackstack inbox at the same time. Simply check the box during download, and you'll get a free account set up automatically—no extra steps needed. You can uncheck it if you prefer to download without creating an account.

When you're signed in and viewing a shared track or playlist, you'll now see a small badge in the top-right corner showing your name and workspace. This makes it clear who you're logged in as while browsing shared content, without affecting what you can see or download.

We've fixed a critical issue causing the desktop app to become extremely slow over time. The offline cache was consuming excessive system resources and slowing down your computer. With this fix, the app will run smoothly even during extended use sessions.

When you signed in to download a file using a share link, you were asked for your name even though we already had it on file. We've fixed this — after you sign in, you'll go straight to your download without any extra steps.

You can now cut highlight clips directly from your live stream recordings and publish them as draft posts instantly. Simply enter the start and end timestamps, add an optional title, and the clip is ready to publish—the original recording remains unchanged.

Max-tier studios can now simulcast their live broadcasts to YouTube, Twitch, or any RTMP-compatible platform directly from the broadcast panel. Set up your simulcast targets before going live, and your broadcast will automatically stream to multiple platforms simultaneously while remaining gated on your home page.

Store owners can now organize their products into custom categories (Services, Products, Music) with custom titles, descriptions, and cover images. Each category gets its own dedicated page on the storefront, and live releases can be automatically included in Music categories. Products are automatically assigned to the appropriate category type.

Live streams now automatically include English closed captions that viewers can toggle on during broadcasts. These captions are also automatically saved to recordings, so replays are captioned without any extra work. Additionally, we've improved our analytics tracking to give you more accurate viewer metrics.

We've finalized the rollout of our improved Store experience by removing the feature flag that was gradually enabling it for users. All stores now use the same modern, streamlined storefront interface with enhanced browsing, search, and checkout capabilities. This means consistent, improved functionality across all stores.

We've fixed an issue where pausing a release would only notify one artist, even when multiple artists were involved in the release. Now, every artist on a release receives a notification when the release is paused or resumed, and each artist sees a notification for each of their tracks in the release.

Fixed an issue where the 'Mark release complete' action was missing from the release menu when a deal had progressed to in-progress status (after contract countersigning). Users can now complete releases directly from the release menu at the appropriate time in the workflow.

We've improved how tracks behave when they're attached to a release. You can no longer decline a track that's already on a release directly from the track menu—instead, you'll need to remove it from the release first. This prevents tracks from being left in an inconsistent state (declined but still on a live release). We've also added clearer messaging to explain why certain actions aren't available for tracks on releases.

We've improved the release confirmation experience with a dedicated dialog that makes it easier to confirm releases and send messages to artists. The dialog now clearly shows what happens when you confirm a release and allows you to add a personalized message that artists will see.

We've improved how contract fields are validated and what error messages you see. Contract field values are now capped at appropriate lengths, and when something goes wrong, you'll see clear, plain-language error messages instead of technical jargon. We've made studio layout customization features available to all users. You can now customize how your studio is arranged, including layout options, navigation style, post display, density, home modules, and navigation areas—all from your appearance settings.

When you cancel a submission in Sends, the status now updates right away without needing to reload the page. Previously, the row would keep showing the old status until you refreshed. This fix also ensures the Sends list stays up-to-date when you cancel from the submission detail view.

You can toggle individual modules like the composer, pulse strip, featured content, and posts on or off, and reorder the ones that can move. We've improved how large files (over 50MB) are uploaded to be much more resilient. Instead of restarting the entire upload if something goes wrong, we now retry just the failed part. We've also added safeguards to detect when uploads get stuck and automatically recover, plus better error messages when files change after you select them.

When file uploads fail, you'll now see a detailed error message explaining exactly what went wrong—whether it's a connection drop, storage rejection, or network issue. We're also collecting diagnostic information behind the scenes to help us troubleshoot upload problems faster without needing you to share screenshots or browser logs.

Uploads now show real-time progress in a dedicated tray at the bottom right of your screen, with clear visibility into each phase: uploading to our servers, processing on the backend, and ready to use. If an upload stalls, you'll see a clear error message and can retry immediately. The tray automatically collapses when uploads finish.

We've fixed an issue where failed file uploads would get stuck showing a spinning "Processing" indicator forever. Now when an upload fails, we automatically clean it up so you can try uploading the file again, and if an upload stalls for more than 30 minutes, we'll show you a clear "Upload failed" message instead of continuing to spin.

We've hardened the desktop sync engine with smarter throttling, better power management, and more control over your syncs. The app now pauses transfers when you're on battery (resuming on AC), limits how fast it downloads to prevent system strain, and gives you a clear way to stop all syncs at once. We've also fixed edge cases that could cause transfers to stall or bypass storage limits.
