New Max plan and improved visibility in PlanModal
We've added a new Max plan to our subscription options, providing high-volume pros with increased submissions, team members, inbox profiles, and other advanced features. We've also improved the visibility and readability of the PlanModal, making it easier for users to compare plan details.
Improved Track Search and Songstats Profile Sync
This update simplifies the track search functionality and refines the Songstats profile sync process, resulting in faster, more reliable, and user-friendly experiences.
Fixed disabled create channel button when slug is auto-generated
We fixed an issue where the create channel button was disabled even when the slug was automatically generated, preventing users from creating new channels.
Improved Interaction with Feed Posts
Users can now like, comment, and bookmark posts directly from the feed. This makes it easier to engage with content without navigating away from the feed.
Improved Studio Channel Experience
We've introduced several improvements to the Studio channel experience, including a member profile popover, refined message toolbar, thread reply counts, and a smoother thread panel layout.
Real-time messaging, DMs, and rich text editing
This update adds real-time channel messaging with rich text formatting, emoji reactions, message editing/deletion, and threaded replies. It also introduces one-on-one DM conversations between studio members.
Revamped Channel Sidebar with Sections and Drag-and-Drop
We've redesigned the channel sidebar to make it more organized and easier to use. You can now create sections to group related channels, and reorder channels using drag-and-drop. The new sidebar also supports collapsing and expanding sections to focus on what's most important.

Add facet filtering to Spotlight
Users can now filter Spotlight tracks by genre, BPM range, and key using a new facet-based filtering system. This provides more granular control over the tracks displayed in Spotlight.
Sorting tracks by most reactions in Spotlight
This update adds a new sorting option to the Spotlight feeds, allowing users to view the most reacted tracks first. This helps users discover the most popular content in the Spotlight.
Redesigned Studio 2.0 Navigation
The studio navigation has been redesigned to provide a more intuitive and customizable experience. Admins can now manage the list of modules (e.g., Events, Members, Collections) directly from the navigation, and members see a consistent, customized module list without having to visit an admin area.
Ability for Studio Owners and Incomplete Members to Cancel Subscriptions
Studio owners and members with incomplete subscriptions can now directly cancel their subscriptions without going through Stripe. This allows more flexibility for managing subscription status.
Improved Subscription Experience for Trial Users
We've made changes to ensure that users on a trial subscription plan can access the full content experience after completing their checkout process. This helps provide a seamless onboarding experience for new trial users.
Improved project management for tracks
This update adds a many-to-many relationship between tracks and projects, allowing users to more easily organize and manage their tracks. Users can now add tracks to multiple projects and see which projects a track belongs to.
Spotlight View Mode Improvements
We've improved the way Spotlight handles the default view mode, ensuring a consistent list view experience across all tabs. This change provides a more predictable and reliable experience for users.
Improved login experience and subscription management
We've made improvements to the login and subscription management flow, making it easier for users to sign in and manage their subscription status.
Redirect invited trial plan members to Stripe checkout on first login
Users who were invited to a trial plan will now be redirected straight to the Stripe checkout flow on their first login, instead of going through the standard onboarding process. This ensures a smoother experience for these users.
Multi-inbox track assignment and uploads layout improvements
You can now assign tracks to multiple inboxes, making it easier to organize your work. The uploads table layout has also been updated for better visibility across different screen sizes.
Improved text visibility on Plans page
We've fixed an issue where the text on the Plans page was difficult to read due to white-on-white backgrounds. The text is now more visible and easier to read.
Fix issue with story image uploads
We've fixed an issue that was causing problems with uploading story images. Users should now be able to successfully upload and share story images without encountering CORS errors.
Stabilized Inbox Profile Header Image
We've made improvements to the header image on the Inbox Profile page, ensuring it loads and displays consistently without flickering or visual glitches.
Improved navigation in Inbox and Sent Track Detail
We've made improvements to the navigation in the Inbox and Sent Track Detail pages, making it easier to move between them and providing a more seamless user experience.

View Insights button now available on mobile devices
The View Insights button is now available on the mobile version of the Library, allowing you to access insights about your tracks on the go.
Improved URL formatting for Link in Bio pages
The URLs for Link in Bio preview and published pages will now always be in lowercase to ensure consistency and better user experience.
Trial subscription cancellations now work reliably
We've fixed an issue that was preventing some users from being able to cancel their trial subscriptions. This update ensures that trial cancellations are now processed correctly.
Link In Bio analytics
We've added new analytics for the Link In Bio feature, allowing users to see how their content is performing and track user interactions.
Add ability to download all submissions
You can now download all of your selected submissions at once, making it easier to access and save your work.
Prevent premature redirect on create inbox page
We've fixed a bug that was causing users to be redirected from the create inbox page before they could finish their work. This ensures users can now complete the full process without interruption.

Improved loading of Sent submissions
The Sent page now loads faster and provides a better experience when you have many outbound submissions. The system automatically fetches more data in the background as you scroll, so the full list of submissions appears progressively without delays.
Prevent duplicate comments
We've fixed an issue that could cause duplicate comments to be posted when users clicked the submit button or pressed Command+Enter multiple times quickly.
Grouped view for Sent submissions
We've added a new 'Grouped by Inboxes' view to the Sent submissions page, making it easier to manage and browse your outbound tracks organized by inbox.
Show track name and inbox when declining a submission with feedback
When you decline a submission with feedback, the drawer will now display the track title and the name of the inbox it was submitted to. This gives you more context about the submission you're providing feedback on.
Video upload UI no longer reappears after successful upload
We have fixed an issue where the video upload UI would reappear after a successful video upload, which could be confusing for users. This change ensures the upload UI stays hidden as expected after a video is successfully uploaded.
New player features and waveform display
The player has been updated with new features, including the ability to view the waveform of the currently playing track. Users can now see more detailed information about the track, such as key, BPM, and loudness.
Studio Workspace Switcher, Channels v2, and New Layout System
This update introduces a new rail-based workspace switcher, a full messaging system with channels and threads, and a new layout system that can be toggled on and off.
Improved image upload validation in onboarding flow
We've improved the validation for image uploads in the onboarding flow. Users will now be required to upload an image before they can save their profile information.
Spotlight Search v1 Released
We've released the first version of our new Spotlight search feature, which allows you to quickly find and access any content, commands, or information across your workspace.
Expanded email communication and enhanced embed card functionality
We've updated the email copy to provide more details about the benefits of the Pro membership plan, and we've also improved the embed card functionality to make it easier for users to view and interact with media content within their bio pages.
Improved thread voting experience
We've made improvements to the thread voting functionality, making it easier for users to toggle their votes and see accurate vote counts.
Improved Onboarding Flow Management
We've improved the onboarding flow management system to prevent duplicate flow names. This makes it easier for you to create and manage your onboarding flows without worrying about naming conflicts.
Freemium refactor and new bio page layout
This update introduces a major refactor of the Freemium plan, including new customizable bio page layouts for artists and creators to showcase their work and content. The bio page layouts have been designed with a clean, mobile-first aesthetic to provide an engaging, visually-focused experience.
Fix for Submission URL redirects
This update fixes an issue where users were sometimes being redirected to the wrong page when viewing submission details. The URLs for submission and track details have been updated to provide a more consistent and reliable experience.
Workspace Switcher, Channels v2, and New Layout System
This release introduces a workspace switcher rail for easily switching between your studios, a new channels system for improved team collaboration and communication, and a new layout system that allows you to customize the look and feel of your studio.
Dark Mode Improvements and Bug Fixes
This update focuses on improving the dark mode experience and fixing various bugs across the inbox web application.
Improved dark mode handling and always-on light mode
The dark mode toggle has been fixed, and the app now always loads in light mode by default, regardless of system settings. This ensures a consistent user experience across all devices and environments.
Fixed display of $0.00 last payment amount during free trial
We've fixed an issue where the last payment amount would incorrectly display as $0.00 during a free trial period. This should now show the correct information.
Improved video subtitle support
We've updated the video upload process to automatically request English and Spanish subtitles for all new videos. We've also added a tool to backfill missing subtitles for existing videos.
Restored studio logo and improved initial nav rendering
The studio logo has been restored to the top left of the desktop header, and the initial render of the navigation menu no longer causes a visible flash or empty state.
