Event Reminder Emails Now Sent Reliably
We've fixed an issue where event reminder emails weren't being sent for certain events in Studio. The system now correctly identifies and sends reminders for all events that need them, ensuring you never miss an important notification about upcoming events.
SEPTEMBER 2026
Live Chat Now Closes After Stream Ends
When a live stream ends, the chat is now automatically closed to new messages. Viewers can still read previous messages from the stream, but they won't be able to send new ones. The chat input field is disabled with a clear message indicating that the stream has ended.
Improved Live Stream Status Feedback
We've improved how your live stream status is displayed when you start broadcasting. You'll now see real-time feedback as your encoder connects, with clearer messaging about when your stream is reconnecting after a connection drop. The system also now properly ends broadcasts more quickly if your encoder disconnects and doesn't reconnect within a reasonable timeframe.
Fixed Live Stream Setup for Past Events
We've fixed an issue where live streams could be incorrectly set up or restarted for events whose scheduled time has already ended. Now, once an event's scheduled end time passes, the system prevents starting or restarting broadcasts for that event, and properly invalidates stream keys when broadcasts are closed.
Home Feed Events Now Show in Schedule Order with Status Labels
Events in your studio's home feed are now displayed in the order they're scheduled to happen, rather than when they were created. Each event now displays a label showing whether it's upcoming, currently live, or has already happened, along with an 'Event' type indicator to match how posts are labeled.
Studio Live Streaming Now Available to All Studios
Studio Live streaming is now available to every studio, provided your plan includes live streaming access. This completes the rollout from our pilot phase, making it easier for all eligible studios to create and broadcast live events without waiting for individual enablement.
Live chat during broadcasts + low-latency streaming option
Studio Live events now include a live chat panel where viewers can interact in real-time during broadcasts. Studio owners can also opt into low-latency mode when creating events for faster, more interactive streams—though live captions won't be available in this mode.
Create highlight clips from live recordings in one click
You can now cut highlight clips directly from your live stream recordings and publish them as draft posts instantly. Simply enter the start and end timestamps, add an optional title, and the clip is ready to publish—the original recording remains unchanged.
Simulcast Your Live Broadcasts to YouTube, Twitch, and More
Max-tier studios can now simulcast their live broadcasts to YouTube, Twitch, or any RTMP-compatible platform directly from the broadcast panel. Set up your simulcast targets before going live, and your broadcast will automatically stream to multiple platforms simultaneously while remaining gated on your home page.
Live Streams Now Include Auto-Generated Captions and Improved Viewer Analytics
Live streams now automatically include English closed captions that viewers can toggle on during broadcasts. These captions are also automatically saved to recordings, so replays are captioned without any extra work. Additionally, we've improved our analytics tracking to give you more accurate viewer metrics.
AUGUST 2026
Live Streaming Hours Quota — Now Enforced Per Billing Period
Your live streaming hours are now tracked and enforced on a per-billing-period basis. Your plan includes a set number of hours each month (25 hours for MAX/ORGANISATION plans, 10 hours for LIFETIME/MANAGEMENT/VETTED_PRO plans). Once you reach your limit, you won't be able to start new broadcasts until your next billing period, though active streams won't be interrupted mid-broadcast.
Live streams now feel truly live with real-time updates and viewer counts
Studio Live broadcasts now update instantly when you go live—no waiting for the status to refresh. Members get notified in-app when your event starts streaming, and broadcasters can see how many people are watching in real time. When a broadcast ends, the recording is automatically saved as a draft so you can publish it with one click.
Live Stream Playback and Recording Embed for Trackstack Live Events
Members can now watch live broadcasts in real-time during Trackstack Live events, with automatic switching to the recorded video once the stream ends. The live status badge now reflects the actual broadcast state instead of estimated timing, and the player gracefully handles connection interruptions.
Studio Live Streaming on Trackstack – Admin Broadcast Controls
Studio owners can now host live events directly on Trackstack instead of linking to external platforms. When creating an event, admins can choose to broadcast live on Trackstack and receive a stream key to use with OBS or StreamYard. A new broadcast panel on the event page shows live status, stream credentials, and controls to manage the broadcast.
Improved Event Privacy Controls and Creation Experience
Studio owners can now restrict event visibility by membership plan or cohort, ensuring exclusive events only reach intended members. We've also fixed several bugs in event creation and editing that prevented access restrictions from being saved properly, and improved the event creation modal's date picker usability.
JULY 2026
New Upcoming Events Section in Studio Sidebar
The right-hand sidebar in Studio now displays a new "Upcoming Events" section showing your next 3 published events in chronological order. This makes it easier to see what's coming up without navigating away from where you are working.
Improved Email Campaign Management and Event Notifications
We've modernized how email campaigns and event notifications work behind the scenes, making them faster and more reliable. Event publishers will now see improved notification delivery, and the email campaign interface has been streamlined for better performance.
APRIL 2026
New event creation workflow, online presence, and DM improvements
This update brings a new event creation workflow, including the ability to draft and publish events. It also adds online presence indicators in the DM sidebar and member profile, and improves the DM experience by automatically marking conversations as read and expanding unread sections.
FEBRUARY 2026
New 'Add to Calendar' button for events
You can now add upcoming events to your Google Calendar, Outlook, or Apple Calendar with a new 'Add to Calendar' button. This makes it easier to keep track of events you're interested in.
Calendar view added to events page
Members can now view upcoming and past events in a calendar view, in addition to the existing list view. The calendar shows a monthly grid with event details and status indicators.
Event Crash Fix
We have fixed a bug that was causing events to crash for some users. This should improve the reliability of the event management experience.
Simplified event creation with duration selection
The event editor has been updated to allow users to pick a start date and duration instead of manually entering an end date. This simplifies the event creation process and ensures the end date is consistently derived from the start time and duration.
JANUARY 2026
Event Reminder Notifications
Users can now set reminders for upcoming events, and will receive email notifications when an event is about to start.
Invite guest coaches and send email notifications for new events
This update allows administrators to invite guest coaches to their studio and sends email notifications to all members when a new event is created.
SEPTEMBER 2025
Validation for Event End Time
We've added a new validation to the event editor to ensure the end time is always after the start time. This prevents users from saving or publishing events with invalid date ranges.
Improved event editor date handling
The event editor no longer crashes when focusing the date pickers, ensuring a smooth experience when creating or editing events.
Fixed issue with event email links
We've fixed an issue where the links in event emails were incorrect, preventing users from accessing event details. This update ensures that users can now easily access their event pages from the email notifications.
JUNE 2025
Fixed Mux Webhook
