Fixed thumbnail uploads on new posts in Studio
We've fixed an issue that prevented you from saving thumbnails when creating a new post in Studio. Previously, attempting to upload and save a thumbnail on a new post would fail with a 'Post not found' error. Now thumbnail uploads work smoothly throughout the post creation process.
Module Status Badges Now Show Disabled and Archived States
Admins can now see clear visual indicators when installed modules are disabled or archived in the Customise section. Previously, these states weren't properly displayed, making it unclear which modules were inactive. Now, disabled and archived modules display distinctive badges so you can easily identify their status at a glance.
Cover images uploaded from Inbox now display correctly in Studio
We've fixed an issue where cover images added from Inbox weren't showing up in your Studio. Additionally, we've improved the member onboarding experience by ensuring studio logos display properly during the onboarding process.
Fixed edited comments now update properly in real-time
We've fixed an issue where edited comments weren't displaying their updated content when you viewed them in read-only mode. Additionally, we've improved the experience when managing tracks and downloads by adding confirmation dialogs and fixing status messaging.
Fixed UI Issues with Create Post Button and Page Scrolling
We've fixed several visual issues that were affecting your experience. The 'Create' button in the post creation area now displays its loading indicator properly, and we've removed unnecessary scrollbars that were appearing on certain pages when they shouldn't have been.
Improved Form Validation and Cover Image Preview in Studio
We've made several improvements to your experience when creating channels and stacks. When uploading a cover image for a channel in Studio, you'll now see a preview of your image immediately after selecting it, rather than having to wait until the form is saved. Additionally, we've added better validation for form inputs across the platform, including character limits and clearer error messages to help you create valid workspace names, stack names, and channel details.
Fixed overlapping thumbnails in collection grid layouts
We fixed an issue where collection grid tiles were overlapping each other, particularly affecting thumbnail images. The tiles now properly fill their designated columns and maintain a clean, organized appearance across different screen sizes.
Fix video resume position and improve course channel creation
We've fixed issues with creating scheduled course channels and improved how videos resume from where you left off. When you watch a video and come back to it later, the player now correctly remembers your position and resumes from that exact spot—unless you've already finished watching, in which case it restarts from the beginning. We also added a character counter when creating channels to prevent naming issues.
Posts Now Display Default Thumbnails Consistently
We fixed an issue where posts without a cover image wouldn't display a thumbnail in the feed. Now all posts (except audio posts) will show a default placeholder thumbnail, ensuring a more polished and consistent appearance across your studio feed.
Improved Video Library Modal and Voice Preview Controls
We've fixed the video library modal to maintain a consistent, fixed size that works better across different screen sizes, preventing it from becoming too large or unresponsive. Additionally, we've resolved an issue with the voice message preview progress bar that was incorrectly showing as fully played when it wasn't.
Getting Started Checklist Now Correctly Tracks Team Invitations
We fixed an issue where the 'Invite your members' step in the Getting Started checklist wasn't being marked as complete when you actually invited team members. Now when you send an invite, the checklist will properly update to show that step as done. We also improved the plan comparison grid layout to display more responsively across different screen sizes.
Studio settings fixes: maintenance mode, notification labels, and save improvements
We've fixed several issues in studio settings that weren't working as intended. Maintenance mode now properly hides your studio from public access, notification email settings are now clearly labeled for who receives them (owners/admins vs. members), and saving changes to your subdomain now takes you to the new address automatically. We've also removed misleading in-app notification toggles that weren't functional and made it easier to clear support email fields.
SEPTEMBER 2026
Video Upload Limit Now Checked Before You Try to Upload
We've improved how we handle video upload limits in your studio. Now when you've reached your plan's video limit, the upload button will be disabled and show you a clear message right away, instead of letting you click upload only to see an error. The system still enforces the limit on our servers to keep everything secure.
Fixed admin navigation when opening posts from tags
We've fixed an issue where clicking on a post from the admin tags tab would lose the admin context. Now when you open a post from the tags section in the admin area, you'll stay in the admin view instead of being redirected elsewhere.
Post Title Length Validation and Better Text Wrapping
We've added validation to prevent post titles from exceeding 120 characters, helping ensure your posts display properly across all views. Long titles are now wrapped more gracefully in feed displays, and you'll see a helpful character counter as you type to keep you informed of remaining space.
Fixed message toolbar visibility in thread conversations
We fixed an issue where the message toolbar (with reaction and action buttons) was getting cut off when viewing the parent message in a thread. The toolbar now displays properly without being hidden by the message container.
Improved Modal Layout and Empty State Display
We've fixed several visual issues in the Studio interface. The thumbnail upload modal now displays properly without overlapping content, the sidebar navigation expands and collapses smoothly without layout shifts, and empty post lists now show a cleaner icon-based design instead of loading external images.
Fixed mention suggestions not responding to clicks in dialogs
We've fixed an issue where clicking on mention suggestions inside dialogs wouldn't work properly. The mention popup will now appear in the correct location and respond to your clicks reliably, even when using the editor within a dialog or modal window.
Upload custom thumbnails for any channel
Studio admins can now upload a custom thumbnail image for any channel directly from Channel Settings → Details. This thumbnail will appear on the channel's card when viewing the section page, giving all channels a consistent look instead of showing generated avatars. Supported formats include JPEG, PNG, GIF, and WebP, with a 4MB size limit.
Improved Video Upload Limit Error Messages
We've improved the error message you see when your studio reaches its video upload limit. Instead of a confusing 'Failed to get endpoint' message, you'll now see a clear message explaining your plan's upload limit and why the upload was blocked.
Better file upload validation with clear error messages and supported file type display
We've improved the file upload experience in Studio by showing you which file types are supported before you upload, and displaying clear error messages when you try to upload an unsupported file. Now when creating resources or posts with cover images, you'll see exactly what file formats are accepted and get helpful feedback if something goes wrong.
Fixed module disabling and archiving across all plan tiers
We've fixed an issue that was preventing users from disabling or archiving modules when their subscription plan didn't support those modules. Now you can clean up unused modules regardless of your current plan tier. Additionally, error messages when updating module states are now more informative.
Improved Collection Post Picker Readability in Dark Mode
We've fixed a display issue with the collection post picker in dark mode. The component now has proper background styling that makes it easier to read and use when you're working in dark mode.
Fixed collection post picker to only show published posts
When adding posts to a collection, the post picker now only displays published posts instead of including draft posts. This makes it clearer which posts are available to add to your collections. Posts that were already in a collection but have since been unpublished will continue to appear as part of that collection.
Fixed post content loss when recording videos
We've fixed an issue where your post body text would be cleared when you started recording a video. Now your written content stays intact throughout the video recording process, so you won't lose any of your work.
Fixed blank camera preview during video recording
We fixed an issue where the camera preview would disappear when you started recording a video message in Studio. Now you'll see a live preview of your camera feed at all times—both before and while recording—so you can see exactly what you're recording.
Fixed link input popover positioning in post editor
We've fixed an issue where the link input popover in the post editor would get cut off or hidden when using the block insert menu. The popover now displays properly within the editor modal, making it easier to add and edit links in your posts.
Fixed issue where channel messages remained visible after leaving a channel
We've fixed a bug where users could still see new messages from a channel even after leaving it. If you were viewing a channel when you left it, the page will now automatically redirect you to the studio home instead of remaining on that channel. Additionally, if someone tries to access a channel they've left through a direct link or page refresh, they'll no longer be able to view it.
Improved stability for adding posts to collections
We've removed a workaround that was needed to make the 'Add a post…' button work properly inside collection modals. This cleanup improves the overall stability of our interface by relying on a more robust underlying solution that was recently implemented.
Fixed video playback on Safari and iOS devices
We've resolved an issue where videos weren't playing on Safari browsers, including on iPhones and iPads. Videos in your plans and posts will now load and play reliably across all devices and browsers.
Studio recorded videos now display correctly
We've fixed an issue where videos recorded directly in Studio weren't being displayed in posts. Now when you record a video or audio message and create a post, it will show up properly for you and your audience. We've also improved the publishing experience by preventing you from publishing while a recording is still being processed.
Replace Resource Files Without Recreating Resources
You can now replace a resource's file directly without having to delete and recreate the entire resource. Simply upload a new file to replace the existing one while keeping all the resource's metadata, tags, and settings intact. The system also tracks who created each resource and who has made file replacements for better accountability.
Channel Leave Action Now Works Reliably
Fixed an issue where leaving a channel would not persist in your sidebar. Previously, when you left a channel, it would disappear temporarily but reappear on your next refresh. Now when you leave a channel, it stays removed from your sidebar as expected.
Fixed studio navigation and note-saving issues
We've fixed two issues that were causing problems when accessing your studio. Users completing studio onboarding will now be properly directed to their studio page instead of seeing a 404 error. Additionally, post notes will now save and display correctly when you revisit them.
Channel Permissions Now Show Save Confirmation Messages
When you save channel permission settings, you'll now receive clear feedback confirming whether the save was successful or if an error occurred. Previously, there was no notification, leaving you uncertain if your changes were applied.
Channel Access Settings Now Update Immediately
Channel access settings (such as visibility, privacy level, and member access) now apply instantly when you save them, without requiring a page refresh. Previously, changes might not appear immediately in the sidebar or other parts of the interface until you reloaded the page.
Reply thread action now hidden when you don't have permission to message
We've fixed an issue where the reply thread option was appearing even when you didn't have permission to post messages. Now, when messaging is disabled for you in a channel or conversation, the reply button will be hidden, and any attempt to reply in a thread will show a clear permission message. This prevents confusion and provides a clearer experience.
Reaction button now properly hidden when reactions are disabled
We fixed an issue where the add reaction button was still visible even when reactions were disabled for a channel or member. Now, when reactions are disabled, the button is completely hidden instead of appearing disabled, providing a cleaner and less confusing interface.
Channel Settings Now Available for All Channel Types
We've fixed an issue where the settings icon wasn't consistently available across all channel types. Now, channel administrators can access the settings gear icon and manage channel configurations for audio, course, and post channels just as easily as they could before for other channel types.
Fixed comment and like visibility controls for studio admins
We've fixed an issue where studio admins could see comments and likes that were supposed to be hidden from members. Now when you hide comments or likes on a post, those settings apply consistently to everyone—including admins. Additionally, when comments are closed, admins can still see and moderate them, but the comment button is properly disabled for regular members.
Fixed video player play button flickering issue
We've resolved an issue where the video player's play button would flicker and briefly reappear while a video was loading in Studio. The player now loads more smoothly without these visual interruptions, providing a better viewing experience.
Fixed onboarding save button during username setup
We fixed an issue where the save button was incorrectly disabled during onboarding when a username was automatically filled in for you. Now the save button will be properly enabled when you have a valid auto-generated username, allowing you to proceed smoothly through the onboarding process.
Fixed multiple loading spinners on Studio Welcome Page
We fixed an issue on the Studio welcome page where multiple loading spinners would stack on top of each other during page load. Now the page displays smoothly with the already-rendered content instead of showing distracting loading indicators.
Fixed channel conversion dialog losing plan selection
We've fixed an issue where the convert channel type dialog would lose your access rules, plan, cohort, or member selections when you reopened it. Now when you open the conversion dialog, your previously selected settings are properly preserved and won't be dropped from your conversion request.
Fixed Google Analytics Measurement ID Saving in Studio Admin
We've fixed an issue where Google Analytics Measurement IDs weren't being properly saved in the Studio admin integrations settings. This fix ensures that your Google Analytics configuration is now correctly persisted and retrieved when you update your integration settings.
Studio Layout Customization Now Available to Everyone
We've made studio layout customization features available to all users. You can now customize how your studio is arranged, including layout options, navigation style, post display, density, home modules, and navigation areas—all from your appearance settings.
Improved Studio Layout Default and Stability Diagnostics
We've updated the default layout for new studios to use the rail layout, which provides a better organized workspace. Additionally, we've added diagnostic tools to help us identify and resolve any backend connectivity issues more quickly, ensuring better service reliability.
Studio Layout Improvements and Navigation Enhancements
We've improved the Studio interface with better layout customization options and a more streamlined navigation experience. The reader view now features a consolidated navigation header that intelligently handles overflow, and the customize panel is now more accessible from the arrangement sheet. These changes make it easier to organize your workspace and navigate through your content.
Improved Studio Layout Experience with Enhanced Console View
We've redesigned how the studio layouts work, particularly for the Console view. The header now displays consistently across all layouts with better organization of controls, the feed page has a cleaner title bar with relevant status information, and the console sidebar now has improved organization with customization options in an easier-to-reach location. Search functionality has been made more flexible to work better in different layout contexts.
Customize Your Studio Home Page Layout
Studio owners can now customize which content blocks appear on their studio's home page and in what order. You can toggle individual modules like the composer, pulse strip, featured content, and posts on or off, and reorder the ones that can move. Additionally, you can now control which navigation areas are visible to your studio members directly from the Appearance settings.
